Each shelf has 6 holes: 2 on each bracket, and 2 on the wooden bars, enabling one to mount them onto a wall, with screws (not included.) Shelves can be mounted either side by side, one above another, or placed in other positions (see photos.) Both shelves have obviously been repainted over the years, and have a creamy, ivory color (see photos.) Pieces are in overall good, original and vintage condition, with some marks, signs of age and previous usage commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time on the overall structures, as they were used outdoors (see various photos.) One of the shelves has a mark at the back, on both the metal and the wood, which are flush with one another

We love that the small lid on top of the Chug cap snaps into place on the metal carry handle, so it doesn't hit you in the face as you tilt the bottle back to guzzle electrolytes throughout your gym session
